1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to https://thephonevalet.com (the “Site”), operated by The Phone Valet LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“The Phone Valet™,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, submitting a quote request or planner partnership inquiry, or communicating with us via telephone, email, or SMS text message, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Site or submitting an inquiry on behalf of an event planning agency, corporation, venue, or client host, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity or individual to these Terms.
2. Website Quotes, Date Holds & Event Service Agreements
Inquiries Are Not Binding Reservations: Submitting an event inquiry through our “Reserve Your Date” form or Planner Partner Portal, or receiving an initial quote or proposal via email or text message, does not constitute a binding reservation or guarantee date availability.
- Formal Booking Confirmation: An event date is formally locked and guaranteed only when (a) both the client (or authorized planner/producer) and The Phone Valet LLC execute a written Event Services Agreement, and (b) The Phone Valet LLC receives the required booking deposit (typically a 50% deposit via Square or approved payment method, with the remaining balance due prior to the event date as specified in the invoice).
- Precedence of Event Services Agreement: In the event of any conflict between these website Terms of Use and a signed Event Services Agreement between you and The Phone Valet LLC, the terms of the signed Event Services Agreement shall govern all on-site services, staffing ratios, travel logistics, cancellation/postponement schedules, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Certificate of Insurance (COI) provisions.
- Custom Pricing & Staffing Estimates: All pricing and staffing ratios referenced on the Site (such as 1 attendant per 60–75 guests) are general operational guidelines. Final pricing is tailored to your specific event location, venue load-in requirements, guest count, service hours, and travel requirements.
3. On-Site Phone Check & Valet Protocol
When The Phone Valet LLC is engaged to provide white-glove phone check-in and device custody at an event:
- Host-Directed Policy: The event host, corporate organizer, or lead planner determines the event’s device policy (e.g., ceremony-only check-in, full-event check-in, VIP/NDA area check-in, or inclusion of smartwatches, smart glasses, and cameras). Our attendants execute the host’s policy with warmth, hospitality, and discretion.
- Claim Tickets & Device Retrieval: Guests receive a numbered physical claim ticket corresponding to a dedicated compartment in our attended station vaults. Guests may visit the attended station at any time during the event to check messages or place calls, and must present their claim ticket to retrieve their device upon departure.
- Lost Claim Tickets: If a guest misplaces a physical claim ticket during an event, our lead attendant will verify device ownership at the conclusion of the event or through secondary verification (such as the guest identifying the device model/case and unlocking the screen in the attendant’s presence) to ensure no device is released to an unauthorized person.
- Dedicated Emergency Event Line: Where a dedicated event phone/text line is provided for parents, babysitters, or family members, the line is monitored by our on-site team during active event hours as a courtesy communication bridge. It is not a substitute for 911 or emergency medical/security dispatch.
4. SMS & Text Messaging Terms (10DLC Program Terms)
By providing your mobile telephone number through our website forms, clicking a “Text Us” link on our Site, or sending a text message to (305) 389-9650 (or any dedicated event number operated by The Phone Valet LLC), you expressly consent to receive SMS/MMS text messages from The Phone Valet LLC under the following terms:
