Do both adults and teens check their phones at a Mitzvah or Sweet 16, or just the kids?
It is 100% up to you! Many families have us check phones exclusively for the teen guests as they arrive at the kids’ cocktail hour or teen lounge, while others make the entire ballroom phone-free for both adults and kids.
How does the end-of-night raffle at pick-up work?
Every teen receives a numbered luxury claim ticket when they check in their phone. At the end of the party as phones are returned, our attendants draw winning numbers and hand out prizes you provide (like gift cards, AirPods, or hoodies). It turns phone check-in into the highlight of the night!
How do parents reach their child if they are dropping off and not attending the party?
Every teen event includes our dedicated Parent Emergency Text Line, which you can share in your pre-event parent email. Our attendants monitor that number continuously and will immediately assist any teen who needs to coordinate a ride or speak with a parent.
What if a teen needs to check a text from their ride near the end of the party?
Our station is attended right outside the ballroom doors all night. Any teen can step over to check a parent text or confirm their ride in seconds.
Do you provide wording we can send to the other parents before the party?
Yes! As soon as you book, we send you ready-to-use parent email and text templates explaining how The Phone Valet™, the emergency text line, and the pick-up raffle work so parents and teens arrive excited.
Can you also hand out disposable cameras to the teens at check-in?
Yes. If you provide disposable cameras, our attendants will hand one to each teen (or table group) at check-in so they still get the fun of taking throwback photos with their friends.
